The Mission of Peninsula Non-Profits United is ...

  • to be a collective, proactive, informed advocacy voice which can make a difference on a public or societal level 

  • to be a vehicle which can translate problems into solutions by advocating for changes in laws, regulations and public programs 

  • to gain greater visibility and recognition for the organizations and the populations that we serve by educating local, state and federal officials.

Goal and Objectives

  • Goal: Peninsula Non-Profits United will actively exercise its advocacy role on behalf of the people being served by partner agencies as well as the partner agencies.

  • Objectives:

    • to educate on and assist partners with effective ways to advocate

    • to serve as a vehicle through which partners receive and give information about issues which need advocacy 

    • to rally partners to advocate on specific issues 

    • to stay abreast of local and state hearings, meetings and the like concerning issues which affect the people served by partner agencies or affect partner agencies.
